Registration for our special needs campers has been completed.  We have again been blessed with a great response to this week.  We currently have a waiting list for the Special Needs program.  If you would like to be on this waiting list please give us a call (616-842-4478).  If you sent in a reservation, you should have received your confirmation in the mail.  Please call if you have any questions!

SPECIAL NEEDS WEEK 2010
Week #2 - June 19-26
WOW - It's hard to believe that it is time to register for another Special Needs Week! What an exciting week it is for our special needs campers and their families! Each special needs camper (ages 5 and up) receives a one-on-one volunteer mentor for approximately 6 hours a day throughout the week. Activities are planned throughout the day, such as Bible School or Youth Group in the morning, craft and game time in the afternoon, and evening activities such as square dancing, Special Olympics, hayrides, and ending with a Friday Night Talent program that brings tears to our eyes, and awesome JOY to our hearts! Each year this week proves to be a special experience and a blessing to all of our camping families and volunteers!



Special Needs Registration
Registration forms with the required deposit will be accepted by MAIL ONLY beginning Monday, December 14, 2009, through Thursday, December 17, 2009! All mail received will be chosen by lot on Friday, December 18, 2009 and the first 48 registrations will be registered. Special needs campers who are living at home with their families will be given priority in the registration process as long as we receive their registration forms in the mail by the above dates. Additional registrations received will be placed on a wait list in the order drawn and your deposit and registration returned. Please write SNP registration on your registration envelope and include a Bio on your special needs child (age, special need, physical capabilities, living at home, t-shirt size) with your registration form. This helps us with matching up our volunteers.

High School or College Students - Volunteer Opportunity
Are you a high school or post-high young adult interested in being part of a very rewarding week? Are you looking for service hours with the opportunity to build a life long relationship that will pay dividends more than you can ever imagine? Then we have a great opportunity for you to be paired with a special needs camper for this fantastic week! Special Needs Financial Support
This week is truly a highlight of the year for many of the special needs campers and volunteers, a life-changing experience for many! For some, it is the only chance for a vacation the get. The week is totally funded by individual donations and WE NEED YOUR HELP! If you are able to contribute financially to thsi incredible week, your tax-deductible contribution would be very much appreciated. Please send your contribution to the Christian Reformed Conference Grounds and write Special Needs Week donation on the check. IF you are interested, a slide show is being prepared to give an overview of the week that you could share with your church in requesting a special collection. Also, urgently needed is your faithful prayer support! Please be in prayer with us about all of the details of the week; that each of the campers and volunteers would receive a special blessing: and that God would again use this week to bring honor and glory to Him.
