Spent the day at Shaw’s hiker hostel. It was a good day to rest, resupply, wash clothes, and eat lots of food. About twenty hikers spent the day here with the majority being North bounders preparing for the 100 mile Wilderness and the climb up Katahdin. My next stop will be in Stratton, Maine, about 75 miles down the road. Mr. Burns, trail name, who I have been hiking with from the start is leaving the trail after cutting his hand and the top of his head in a stream crossing. Continue to covet your prayers for safety.
