I hope and pray that our Conference Grounds family is safe, healthy, well, and practicing all our safe distancing guidelines! I’ve been reminded of the Bible verse, Romans 12:12 ” Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer!” We are continuing to plan and prepare for our summer season and hopefully be open for camping Memorial Day weekend if not sooner (camping is currently closed until May 15 per executive order 2020-21). Our recreational facilities, cottages, and meeting areas are also closed until April 30, though we have walkers and visitors (practicing safe distancing guidelines) stopping by to check out our beach – yes we have a beach! We may serve families and individuals by allowing them to use our cottages or camp if they need to be separated from their families due to COVID-19. Please give us a call (616 842-4478) if we can help you.
All Conference Grounds activities have been cancelled for the month of April including the The Celebration of Praise dinner and concert scheduled on Saturday, April 25. It has been rescheduled for Saturday, October 10. We will be calling or emailing everyone who has made reservations and hopefully the new date will work for your schedule. We are continuing to take reservations for the summer camping season and have openings for most weeks except June 27 to July 4, July 25 to August 1, and August 1 – 8. We appreciate your prayers and support as we continue to navigate the challenges and impacts of COVID-19. Our administrative office is open Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 4:30. We are closed Saturday and Sunday.
Let’s be joyful as we look forward with hope, patient and caring as we go through our daily challenges, and faithful in our prayers to our awesome God who has us in His hands!
