We hope and pray that our Conference Grounds family continues to be safe and healthy!  Our ministry team continues to be well and is preparing the Grounds for another Summer season.  We are on week number 8 of being closed to cottage use and facility rentals, and like all of you we are ready for this be over!  We continue to have many visitors and community members who come into the Grounds for their recreational walks and to check out our beach.

Even though our first first Senior Serve week , which should be going on this week, has been cancelled, a lot of clean-up and prep work has been getting done so we are ready for you! All reservations up to Friday May 15 have been cancelled, due to the current executive order. We are anxiously awaiting to hear, and praying, that the stay at home order will be lifted on May 16. We are currently planning on being open  for Memorial Day weekend, May 22-25, if the order is lifted before then.  We have been formulating a plan that will help keep everyone safe and healthy as we kick off the start of our summer season.  We have cancelled our Memorial Day concert, May 25, with the Voices of Victory.  We are planning to have our second Senior Serve week scheduled for May 26 to May 30.   We continue to take camping reservations for the summer season and have openings for most weeks except June 27 to July 4, July 25 to August 1, and August 1-8. Our administrative office is open Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 4:30 pm.  We are closed on Saturday and Sunday.

We appreciate your prayers and support as we continue to navigate the challenges and impacts of COVID-19. Please also remember to pray today for our leaders and our world.  May you find peace in these words from Philippians 4:6-7 -“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
