While we are still uncertain as to when we  will be able to welcome our camping and cottage families we wanted to let you know that we are ready!  We are excited  share with you the following practices and procedures to help keep us all healthy and safe.

We want to reassure all of our camping and cottage families, visitors, and community that we are implementing safe and healthy procedures throughout our campground and facilities. The following are precautions we are taking based on the current state and county guidelines and are subject to updating as needed. We are anxious and excited to get our season started and will be opening up our campground and facilities as soon as we are able to per the state and county mandates.

Registration Desk: When you arrive to check in we ask that one adult from your family comes in to register. One person will be allowed in at time, entering in the main door and exiting out through the Sunshine Room. We have installed a Plexiglas shield across the front of the desk.

Store/Restaurant: We are following the state and health department guidelines for serving all food. A Plexiglas shield has been installed along the serving counter. We will be doing takeout orders and will open the dining room as soon as we are able. We will social distance our entrance and exits with x’s on the floor. The ice cream/candy store will be open following the same guidelines.

Cottages: All cottages will be cleaned and sanitized before you arrive, in addition they will all be stocked with Hand Soap and sanitizer(Kitchen and Bathrooms), Dish Soap, Dishwasher Soap, anti-bacterial spray bottles and paper towel, wipe and disinfect surface areas as needed throughout your stay.

Pool: The salt based chemicals that we treat our pool with turns into chlorine which kills coronavirus. The State is recommending keeping chlorine levels higher than normal but still within bathing limits. We will be limiting campers and visitors to 50% of the pool area capacity.  The hot tub will not be open due to the inability to social distance. We are implementing increased cleaning of touch surfaces such as ladders, handrails, deck furniture, bathrooms, etc. We have revamped our entry into the pool area with one way entrance and one way exit traffic through the pool house. The shower/changing area will be closed. The Family Restrooms by the entrance will be open. We will be keeping chairs 6 feet away from each other and ask that you stay in family groups. The lifeguards will wear masks when interacting with patrons while at desk and during First Aid procedures.  All First Aid and Emergency response procedures will follow the AHA guidelines forCOVID-19 Emergency care.

Activity Center: We will be monitoring and following the current guidelines for the cleaning, sanitizing of gyms, and limiting capacity. We will have hand sanitizer stations available and will follow social distancing procedures.

Worship Center: We will be cleaning and sanitizing before and after each use. Hand sanitizer stations will be available. We will be holding worship services at a limited capacity, spilling out onto the lawn as needed. Nursery will not be available. All concerts for the months of June and July have been cancelled.

Playground: Our playground remains open to use at your discretion. We are not cleaning or sanitizing any surfaces.

Bathrooms:  Bathrooms will be open with restricted hours. Hours will be posted at each bathhouse location.  Additional cleaning & sanitizing will be taking place each day, plus cleaning and sanitizing supplies will be available for the campers to use prior to using the facilities.  We recommend that you use your personal trailer bathrooms if possible and limit use of the public bathhouses.

While you are here we encourage you to take extra care and precautions to stop the spread of disease. Remember social distancing from those who are not in your household, wash hands often, and disinfect touchable areas. All staff will be wearing masks when working inside any of our facilities and we recommend our patrons wear masks if they are able to. Staff will be asked health screening questions and have temps taken upon arrival.

We have been working through all of our regularly scheduled activities to see what works and what doesn’t in light of Covid-19. We are planning on holding our weekly Bible Study with the addition of social distancing guidelines. Bible School, Real Life, Children’s, and Youth Activities will look different as we navigate through how we can safely have these groups meet and interact.  Some of the things we are planning include pre-registration, screening questions, hand sanitizer stations, doing things in smaller groups spread out around the room, social distancing games and activities, recommending the wearing of masks inside the facilities, and staggering the days/events/activities. And, we are planning on a lot of fun times!  As the summer progresses we will monitor the current recommended guidelines and best practices and make adjustments as we are able to.

We are looking forward to seeing you this summer!
