The Conference Grounds is excited to have the opportunity to host wedding ceremonies and receptions at our beautiful campground. It is our desire to provide a place where a man and woman may honor God with their commitment to each other. We pray you will begin your married lives centered on Jesus Christ and His saving grace!

Wedding packages at the Grounds are customized to fit your needs and can include:

  • Rehearsal time
  • Wedding prep rooms
  • A/V systems

  • Golf cart usage
  • Catered rehearsal dinner

Facilities Guidelines & Added Info

  1. The bride and bridegroom are members or attend an organized church that believes in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and in the Biblical view of marriage – Man and Woman.
  2. The wedding ceremony will be performed by an ordained pastor (MD Degree) and is licensed in the state of Michigan or another state. (Civil Ceremonies are not permitted).
  3. Weddings may take place in our Worship Center from September through May (outside of our regular camping season). No Sunday weddings.
  4. Wedding party and all guests must abide by all Christian Reformed Conference Grounds guidelines and policies.
  5. We are an alcohol, smoking, marijuana/cannabis or derivative(s) free campus. No pets allowed.
  6. Wedding party is responsible for all additional decorations they bring in.  You may not use nails or tacks or to attach decorations to the Worship Center. All decorations must be removed immediately after the ceremony is completed.
  7. Weddings in the Worship Center include the use of chairs. 
  8. A deposit of $150.00 is required to reserve a wedding date and is not refundable. The remaining balance is due two weeks prior to the ceremony.

  3. Some time restrictions apply during our summer camping season (Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend). During this season, we allow weddings: Fridays 5-6:30 and Saturdays 12:00pm to 2:00pm. No Sunday weddings.
  4. Wedding party and all guests must abide by all Christian Reformed Conference Grounds guidelines and policies.
  5. We are an alcohol, smoking, and marijuana/cannabis or derivative(s) free campus. No pets are allowed inside any of our facilities or on the beach/walkway/hill/gazebo area.
  6. Wedding party is responsible for all additional decorations you bring in.  You may not use nails, tacks, or tape to attach decorations to the gazebo or light fixtures. Ribbon is permissible.  All decorations must be removed immediately after the ceremony is completed.
  7. Wedding parties must use Conference Grounds white wedding chairs.
  8. The Conference Grounds does not allow tents or canopies in case of inclement weather.
  9. A deposit of $150.00 is required to reserve a wedding date and is not refundable. The remaining balance is due one week prior to the ceremony.
  10. Beach walkway will close 15 minutes before the start of ceremony and re-open when the ceremony is over.
  1. Receptions may take place in our Worship Center from September through May (outside of our regular camping season). No Sunday weddings.
  2. The Worship Center accommodates receptions up to 300 guests.
  3. Tables and chairs are included in the rental price. Table cloths or chair coverings are not provided. (We have 72” round tables – seat 8-10 / 72” rectangle tables – seat 8)
  4. We are an alcohol, smoking, marijuana/cannabis or derivative(s) free campus and usage is not permitted in or outside of our facilities. No pets allowed.
  5. Wedding party is responsible for all additional decorations they bring in.  You may not use nails, tacks, or certain tapes to attach decorations to our walls, fixtures, tables, and chairs. All decorations must be removed immediately after the reception is completed.
  6. Worship Center will be available at 1:00pm the previous day for decorating provided the facility is not reserved previously to your reservation. You must leave the facilities by 11:00pm.
  7. Parking will be available in one of our parking lots or our activity field the day of the reception.
  8. Caterer is responsible for their set-up and following clean-up including bringing all waste to our dumpsters. If CRCG staff remove the waste an additional charge will be added to the rental fee.

A deposit of $150.00 is required to reserve a wedding reception date and is not refundable.  The remaining balance is due two weeks prior to the reception.
